I used to be the person who judged grocery pickup and delivery.

Like
Just take your kids inside
It builds character
They’ll survive

And then I had four kids.

And suddenly the math changed.

The overstimulation
The negotiations
The one who has to pee
The one who is touching raw chicken
The one who is melting down because the cart isn’t the red one

Yeah. No.

Now I happily pay the extra fee.
For my peace.
For my sanity.
For not turning a basic errand into an Olympic event.

Pickup. Delivery. Whatever works.
Because protecting my nervous system is parenting too.

Growth is realizing convenience isn’t always lazy.
It’s survival.
