Chickens Come Home
"Chickens Come Home" 1931 directed by James W. Horne, Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy with Mae Busch (on left) and Thelma Todd (on right) also with James Finlayson, Norma Drew as Mrs. Laurel, and Patsy O'Byrne as the gossip. Mae Busch was an asset to any film she was in as she was in their first Talkie, "Unaccustomed as We Are" 1929 and she was superb in "Sons of the Desert" 1933. Her scene wrestling Laurel for the car key is excellent. This was Thelma Todd's third sound film with the boys, and she has enough glamour without it overshadowing her innate comic talent.
