To the mom
To the mom who’s grieving a baby she never got to hold.
To the mom whose house is too quiet now.To the mom who cried in the shower so no one would hear.
To the one who’s wondering if she’s failing because she yelled today.
To the mom who works all day and still comes home to do more.
To the mom who stays home and wonders if it’s enough.
To the one who’s up all night, rocking a baby who won’t stop crying,
and still shows up in the morning with tired eyes and a full heart.
To the mom who’s waiting waiting for her turn, her miracle, her peace.
You are doing the hardest job there is.
And some days, it breaks you a little.
But even on those days, you’re still their safe place.
You’re the reason they feel loved.
You’re the reason they feel home.
