Our kids are always watching

 Our kids are always watching.

Not just what we say, but how we live.

They notice how we speak when we’re angry.
How we treat people when no one’s watching.
How we sit with pain instead of running from it.
How we get back up when life knocks us down.

They’re learning what love feels like by the way we hold them when they cry.
They’re learning what respect looks like by the way we talk to others.
They’re learning what strength means by watching us rise again and again.

We are their first example of what it means to be human
flawed, growing, and trying our best.

So even on the hard days, remember…
they’re watching.
And they’re learning from us.
