I chose to bring my kids into this world

I chose to bring my kids into this world.

That was my decision, not theirs.

They don’t owe me for the sleepless nights, the meals I’ve skipped, the tears I’ve cried, or the sacrifices I’ve made.
That’s part of the deal I signed up for the moment I chose them.

I owe them love.
I owe them patience.
I owe them safety, guidance, and a place where they can just be who they are without fear.

My children don’t owe me anything in return.
Their existence is not a debt to be repaid.
It’s a privilege for me to be their mom.
