Some days I feel like I’m nailing motherhood
Some days I feel like I’m nailing motherhood.
The house is clean, the kids are happy, I’ve actually managed to drink my coffee while it’s still hot.I go to bed thinking, yeah… I did good today.
Other days?
Motherhood knocks me flat.
The laundry is piled high, the dishes aren’t done, my patience is gone, and I’m crying in the bathroom just to catch a breath.
But no matter what kind of day it is
We’re still rockin’.
Because my kids don’t need a perfect mom.
They need a present one.
They need the version of me that shows up, even when I feel like I’ve got nothing left.
They need the love that never runs out, even when my energy does.
And that’s something motherhood will never take from me
