“I fell in love with the script for Charmed. Prue is not just a witch – she is the eldest sister, the one in charge. And I knew that if I kept showing up with long, romantic hair, people wouldn’t take her seriously.”

Shannen picked up scissors and cut her own long hair in the bathroom before her first photo shoot. No hesitation. No regrets.

“I didn’t cut my hair. I cut off the part of my past that made me feel like a stereotype,” she said."
