Federal-style house

This elegant Federal-style house is located on Main Street in Suffield, Connecticut, and it was built in 1795 for Ebenezer King Jr. It was later sold to William Gay, whose family owned the house for over a century. The first photo was taken around 1935-42, and not much has changed since then; even the large sycamore tree on the left side is still standing. The house is now owned by Suffield Academy.
