Wilson House
Named the ‘Wilson House’ after its first owner, this grand home was designed by Portland architect David Williams and built in 1904, around the time when the World’s Fair was held in Portland. The elegant family home experienced prohibition times hosting its own speakeasy, then was a Children’s’ home in the latter part of the 20th century and now the home has been lovingly updated by the current owners and restored to its former glory.
A grand inviting front porch, tall, coved ceilings, beautiful wood floors and original woodwork throughout the home emphasize the classic beauty of the architecture, while the recent updates bring this home seamlessly into the 21st century.
