The Colditz Story

"The Colditz Story" is a 1955 British war film directed by Guy Hamilton and starring John Mills, Eric Portman, and Christopher Rhodes.

The story follows a group of Allied prisoners, including British, French, Dutch, and Polish soldiers, who are imprisoned at Colditz Castle, an infamous German POW camp designated for "incorrigible" prisoners who had attempted to escape from other camps. Despite the strict security measures and constant surveillance by the German guards, the prisoners devise ingenious escape plans and strategies to defy their captors and regain their freedom.
