Rita Levi-Montalcini,
“I tell young people: Do not think of yourself, think of others. Think of the future that awaits you, think about what you can do, and do not fear anything.”
Rita Levi-Montalcini, born on April 22, 1909, was a neurologist and Nobel Prize laureate. Levi-Montalcini was kicked out of university when Italy passed anti-Jewish laws in 1938, but she was determined to continue her work and research, setting up a laboratory in her bedroom.
She passed away in 2012, at the age of 103.
