Fairbanks House

The Fairbanks House in Dedham, Massachusetts, in the 1890s and 2021. Built around 1641 and subsequently expanded over the years, it is the oldest known wood-frame house in North America. It was originally the home of Jonathan and Grace Fairbanks, and it would remain in their family for many generations, until the turn of the 20th century.
The house was nearly demolished in the 1890s, but it was ultimately preserved. It is now owned by the Fairbanks Family in America, and it is open to the public as a museum.
