WHEN STORM LIGHT AND RAINBOWS SHARED THE SKY
WHEN STORM LIGHT AND RAINBOWS SHARED THE SKY ⚡๐
Farmers had already seen the storm approaching from miles away. The air was heavy, the wind had grown still, and clouds above the open fields built into towering formations. Then, as rain began to fall, sunlight reached the sky behind the storm.
Two rainbows appeared on opposite sides of the horizon, their colors standing out against deep gray clouds. For a moment, the scene seemed calm .. until a lightning strike illuminated the field.
A single, intense bolt extended from the cloud base and struck a lone tree standing in the middle of the field. The flash cut through the darkness with bright white light, briefly turning dusk into daylight. Witnesses said the thunder followed almost immediately, rolling across the flat land with powerful force.
The rainbows formed because sunlight passed through falling rain at the correct angle behind the storm. The lightning resulted from strong electrical charge buildup inside the towering thundercloud. The rare overlap of both phenomena created a scene of sharp contrast .. color alongside intense atmospheric energy.
