President John F. Kennedy

Today, we are sharing a special glimpse into history — photographs of President John F. Kennedy’s grave, taken in June 1965. These photos were captured by my dad as our family prepared to move to Germany, where he served proudly in the U.S. Army.

The images reflect a time when the nation was still grieving the loss of one of its most beloved leaders. The eternal flame, first lit by Jacqueline Kennedy in 1963, stands as a symbol of JFK’s enduring legacy — a reminder of his courage, vision, and the hope he inspired in millions.
Looking back, these photos not only capture a moment in American history but also tell a personal story of service, remembrance, and reflection. President Kennedy’s resting place continues to draw visitors from around the world who come to honor his life and his timeless message of leadership and unity.
Rest in peace, President John F. Kennedy. Your light continues to guide generations.
