“I think, one of Queen's greatest assets was the band's lovability. Freddie was a hopelessly appealing, not to mention endearingly, private figure whose private life was, as it had to be, not a matter of public record.
What repeteadly emerges about him, is the gaugantuan affection that pretty much everyone who ever met him felt for him, and the clearly still painful, unfillable hole that he left. Nobody has a single bad word to say about him.
