I will never force my child

 I will never force my child to have a relationship with someone who chooses not to show up. You’re either in their life or you’re not. That’s your choice.

But please understand, every time you choose not to be there, that bond fades a little more.
My child will grow up knowing love, consistency, and effort.
If you can’t give them that, they won’t wait around.
And I won’t make them.
