Normalize your kids having opinions

 Normalize your kids having opinions.

Normalize them asking “why?”
Normalize them saying “that hurt my feelings.”
Normalize letting them know it’s okay to cry sometimes when something is too much.

They are not being rude.
They are not being dramatic.
They are learning how to express themselves.

We can teach respect without silencing them.
We can teach boundaries without making them feel small.

Let them speak.
Let them question.
Let them feel safe using their voice with you.

That’s how they grow into adults who don’t let the world walk all over them.
That’s how they learn their voice matters.
It starts at home.
