Children don’t care about child support

Children don’t care about child support.

They don’t care who paid for what.
They don’t care who was married to who or why the adults can’t get along.

They care about who shows up when it matters.
Who picks them up with a smile after a long day.
Who helps them tie their shoes before practice.
Who is clapping the loudest at their concert.
Who brings them soup when they’re sick.
Who helps with the last-minute school project, even when they're exhausted.

That’s what they’ll remember.
That’s what makes someone a real parent.
It’s not about perfection or the past.
It’s about being present.
And showing up with love, every single time.
