 April 4, 1992, a cover issue of TV Guide featured actors Ronn Moss and Katherine Kelly Lang, stars of the CBS daytime soap The Bold and the Beautiful.

At the time, they portrayed Ridge Forrester and Brooke Logan, one of daytime television’s most popular romantic pairings. The cover headline, “THOSE SEXY SOAPS,” highlighted how daytime dramas were becoming increasingly provocative in the early 1990s, with a subhead noting “Look What They’re Getting Away with on Daytime TV!” The issue also included a feature on television’s evolving tone, along with a baseball opening season article titled “We Throw You an Inside Curve.”
