Vilma Banky
Vilma Banky, January 9, 1898, Hungary - March 18, 1991, Los Angeles, CA. Actress in films from 1919 in Europe and in the USA from 1924 appearing with Rudolph Valentino in two films and with Ronald Colman in five. She married film actor Rod La Rocque on June 26, 1926, and they remained together until his death on October 15, 1969. She was extremely popular in silent films for the Samuel Goldwyn Company. She made one sound film in 1930, "A Lady to Love", with Edward G. Robinson, and two in Germany before retiring from films in 1933.
