You can love your kids more than anything

You can love your kids more than anything… and still feel overwhelmed.

Still feel like you want to crawl out of your own skin after being touched and climbed on all day.
Still feel angry. Short-fused. Snappy.
Still feel like you just need one second where no one needs anything from you.

And that doesn’t make you a bad mom.
It makes you human.

You weren’t meant to carry it all without breaking.
You weren’t meant to parent without rest. Without help. Without space to just be.

We live in a world that tells moms to be grateful. To be quiet. To be endlessly selfless.
But there’s nothing selfish about needing time to breathe.
There’s nothing wrong with saying this is too much today.

Stop bottling it up.
Stop shaming yourself for feeling burnt out.

Name it.
Feel it.
Heal it.

That’s how you teach your kids that all emotions even the messy ones are okay.
That love doesn’t mean you never get tired.
That softness isn’t the absence of anger, but the courage to come back to connection anyway.

You are allowed to be the storm and the shelter.

You’re doing better than you think.
