Unpopular opinion

 Unpopular opinion, but even if I had all the money in the world, I still wouldn’t buy my kids everything they wanted.

Because I’m not raising consumers. I’m raising people.

People who know how to work hard, appreciate effort, understand the difference between “want” and “need,” and feel gratitude when something special comes their way.

Yes, I want to give them a beautiful life. But that doesn’t mean handing them everything on a silver platter. It means teaching them how to build their own.

Because one day I won’t be here to hand them the world and I need to know they’ll know how to earn it, love it, and take care of it all on their own.
