like the living room is a race track

the kind that wears princess dresses
with muddy knees

baby dolls
and toy cars

she’ll roar like a dinosaur
then come cuddle like she didn’t just destroy the place

she’s soft
and wild
all at once

and somehow…

she’s exactly who she’s meant to be
