Before I became a mom

Before I became a mom, I thought success meant promotions, pay raises, and climbing the ladder.

I thought it was having the perfect house, a spotless kitchen, and a to-do list that stayed short.
Then I had kids.
And everything I thought I knew about “having it all” shifted.

Now success looks like sitting on the floor building block towers with them.
It’s hearing them laugh from the other room.
It’s being the person they run to when they’re hurt, scared, or just need to be held.

Some days, success is just getting everyone fed and in bed.
And I’ve learned that’s okay.
Because this season of life isn’t about the hustle,
it’s about the love.
