It’s a little bit of grace

 Me: “Pregnancy is so hard.”

Them: Just wait until they’re here!

Me: “Having a newborn is so tiring.”
Them: Just wait until you have a toddler!

Me: “Toddlers are so difficult.”
Them: Just wait until they’re a teenager!

It’s always just wait.
But what if we stopped warning and started listening?

Every season of motherhood has its own kind of hard.
The sleepless nights. The tantrums. The backtalk.
They all stretch us in different ways.

Instead of reminding a mom how much harder it gets,
try reminding her she’s doing a good job right now.
Tell her she’s allowed to find it hard.
Tell her it’s okay to not love every moment.

Because what moms really need isn’t another warning.
It’s a little bit of grace.
