Babies aren’t toys
Babies aren’t toys.
You don’t have to “share” your baby just to make other adults feel included. If your baby only feels safe with you, that’s okay.
If they cry when they’re passed around, that’s okay too.
They’re not trying to hurt anyone’s feelings they’re just small humans doing their best to feel safe in a big, overwhelming world.
You’re not being overprotective for keeping your baby close.
You’re being their voice, their safe place, their advocate.
Boundaries aren’t rude.
They’re part of protecting your baby’s peace.
So don’t let anyone guilt you for holding your baby.
